Saltburn Cricket Club has a well-maintained cricket pitch as well as a 3-lane indoor net facility which is available to hire by the lane or as a whole by individuals, groups, other Clubs or for themed birthday parties. We run both adult and junior teams in local leagues (April – September) and practice nights and coaching sessions take place from January to the end of September.
Saltburn Bowls Club has a 6-rink bowling green and enters teams in local leagues as well as hosting social play most afternoons. We are pleased to entertain visiting teams from all over the British Isles and have provided facilities for County matches too. We run a very friendly club and are very proud of the standard of our green and our record of prize-winning floral displays.
Saltburn Tennis Club has four hard courts and two grass courts. The hard courts are available for play all year round, unless they have been booked for club matches or other organised games. Visitors to the town can pay a visitor’s fee to play. We now have floodlights on two hard courts enabling play to continue even if the light is poor.
We would like to welcome everyone to come into Saltburn Cricket, Bowls & Tennis Club to see what we have to offer. You may like to call in for a drink or you may want to use the Club for a private party, a meeting or a fund-raising activity.
Saltburn Surf School is located on the lower promenade and has been running since 1993. The Surf School offers surfing lessons and hire of equipment and deck chairs. Users can also regularly check the website for daily surf forecasts.

Scaling Dam is a Royal Yachting Association recognised training establishment for dinghy sailing. The Club owns a Challenger Trimaran which is equipped for people with physical and/or sensory disabilities who want to sail.

Indoor flat green bowls open to disabled and able bodied people. Bowls and buggies are available for disabled people. The Centre has ramped access to the interior of the building as well as ramps to the indoor rinks. The recently refurbished and upgraded kitchens provide a wide selection of value-for-money meals. There is also a licensed bar. Easy access to the function room, which is available for hire to organisations and individuals. Open all year round.
Scarborough Surf School offers surfing lessons, hire and demo centre based at Cayton Bay, Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Cayton bay is a stunning beach location and home to some of the best beach break waves on the East Coast. It also happens to be one of the few beaches in the area that can be surfed through all states of tide.
The We operate 7 days a week, 12 months of the year and offer both beginner and intermediate lessons for groups and on a one-to-one basis. Regardless of your ability and experience we aim to get you surfing quickly and safely at our beach side location where we have the following facilities - Parking, Changing rooms, Toilets, Surf shop, Hire / Demo Centre, Free hot showers and friendly approachable staff. All instructors are BSA (British Surfing Association) qualified surf coaches and RLSS (Royal Life Saving Society) qualified beach lifeguards who have a wealth of surfing knowledge and are very experienced, so you can guarantee you’ll be in safe hands.

We run as a small friendly club with approximatly 60 members. We hold regular training rallies in flatwork, jumping and cross country and aim to provide a varied programme including competions throughout the year.
We hold our AGM in October where trophies and prizes are presented including Dressage, Showjumping, Attendance, Most Improved and Service to the Club. Whitby Riding Club teams also compete successfully at Area and National level.All we ask our members, is to support the club at least 3 times during the year. This could be either competing, helping at either a club event or an area competition or at one of the social events.
