Age Concern Aid-Call

Aid-Call is a 24-hour personal SOS system approved by Age Concern and available throughout the UK, which quickly summons emergency help. Help can be summoned by pressing the Aid-Call button which is worn round the neck. The button is waterproof and can be worn in the bath or shower.

You nominate two or more people (family or neighbours) you can rely on to come to your aid, to be key holders. If, for example, you have any kind of accident, feel ill, get locked out or slip on the steps, simply press the button and you will be linked to the Emergency Response Centre. Even if you can’t speak they will know who is calling and help will soon be on its way. The Emergency Response Centre will contact your nominated key holders or the emergency services if appropriate and will stay on line until you are in safe hands.

Charges are kept as low as possible and profits go straight back to support Age Concern. Prices include installation, 24 hour monitoring and on-site maintenance.

A local Age Concern adviser can visit you at home to demonstrate how the system works. There is no charge for this and no pressure to buy.
