NEW WEBSITE: Valley News now has its own website!
Dear Contributors, Readers and Advertisers,
Exciting news which we hope will help 'Valley News' magazine stay in touch and provide a useful service for readers, events organisers, contributors and advertisers:
NEW WEBSITE! Valley News now has its own website:
Please bookmark this page and visit it for updates between issues and to see extras such as pictures and movies. There is also an archive of past articles that we will add to over time, which might be useful to look back on (see page 'The Magazine').
Please use the website (and the print magazine) for free advertising for local fundraising events - just send us the details (by email/phone). Posters can be displayed on the events page of the website - please send a jpg image or we can scan your poster if you bring it round.
Valley News also has a Facebook page - if you are on Facebook please visit and click 'Like' so we can keep in touch (the more Likes we get the better service we receive from Facebook so we'd appreciate your help here!). We will publish 'extras' on Facebook including images, short movie clips and events news.
Please feel free to send us news, photos or movies of local events to publicise them here for all the community to share.
Anyone on Twitter can also follow us here:
UPDATES - MAILING LIST
Occasionally we will send a Valley News update by email (not more than once a month) with additional events (some events miss our print deadlines) and announcements/news. We won't share your email with anyone. Please let us know if you would prefer not to receive any emails like this.
Finally, please spread the news about Valley News online to anyone who you think might benefit (if they would like to join our mailing list for updates there is a button to click on the website home page). Please give us your feedback so we can improve the service. And please note that the print edition of Valley News remains the heart and soul of the magazine. We're not intending to replace it!
Best wishes and thanks for your support,
